• You might be wondering, "And so what the heck is this Mon Poll affair anyway?"
  Well, it isn't much of a poll. Information technology's more just a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I've been putting out to readers every Mon forenoon for the past three years, which I judge makes this somewhere around Vol. 159. I've e'er enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you lot enjoy reading mine.

2. Did you watch the Oscars last nighttime? If y'all did, what did you lot call back?

I caught the concluding half of the show with the big categories. I idea Ann looked beautiful in every i of her outfits, and James looked quite dapper, simply most of the jokes I saw roughshod rather flat. My favorite office was probably Billy Crystal's short segment.

3. Have you ever dated someone you met online?

Earlier I met El Hub, I went on a few dates with guys I'd met on Craigslist. They were all nice dudes, but no sparks. This was over 10 years ago, heed you lot, when the site wasn't every bit scary/seedy, and WAY earlier Lifetime movies similar The Craigslist Killer.

4. Button-down denim skirts, yea or nay?

Yea when I rocked that look in sixth grade (with my high-superlative Reeboks); now, not and then much.

5. Favorite drugstore body lotion?

CeraVe. Budget beauty babes, that stuff'southward corking for dealing with ashy skin.

6. Your default work outfit?

When I'thou but working from home, my default look is rather unglamorous, but when I have a coming together or an event to become to, I'll usually achieve for my J. Make 811 skinny jeans, a blazer and heels.

7. A country yous'd beloved to visit?

Where to begin? For starters, Italy. I'd love to eat my way through Tuscany…

8. Something y'all wish you had more fourth dimension for?

Dance classes!

9. What are you wearing on your lips today?

MAC Cremesheen Glass in Deelight from the MAC Packed to Go Girl Most Town set. It'southward been my go-to gloss as of tardily.

10. Weekly goals:

I'm keeping information technology unproblematic this calendar week. I plan care for myself kindly and with honey. 🙂 Oh, and I need to drink more h2o throughout the day.

I beverage a redonkulous corporeality of tea, and ane of my favorite brands lately has been Yogi. They have an almost hippie-dippy vibe, and sell the regular flavors forth with various blends to address different bug like stress, joint wellness and "regularity" (hey, it's an effect).

Anywho, all of their teabags have a corny picayune quote on the label (which I love). Some of them really get me thinking, similar this morning time's: "Whatever yous are, you are. Be proud of it."

What am I? Well, I'm a slightly out-of-shape, Nutella-loving true cat lady with a penchant for pinkish lipgloss. I also have a bunch of traits many people would consider faults. I article of clothing my middle on my sleeve (NO poker face any), I'm not very competitive, and I'grand probably too sensitive for my ain good.

I'm always trying to amend in these areas, you know, to become tougher and all, but at my core, I know this is who I am.

Gotta paw it to those Yogi tea folks for their great tea and good food for thought. Whatever you are, y'all are. Be proud of it, my friend. 🙂
